Position Summary
As a Cook/Kitchen Team Member, you'll help prepare and serve quality food while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, has a positive attitude, and enjoys being part of a team that takes pride in hospitality and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and company standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Keep work areas clean and sanitized throughout shifts
- Follow food safety and health department regulations
- Assist with prep work, dishwashing, and closing duties as needed
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Communicate effectively with fellow kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Help maintain inventory and notify management of low stock items
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail
