In this exciting position, you’ll provide hands-on, patient-centered care across multiple locations, ensuring continuity of treatment and support to diverse patient populations. With your expertise, you’ll help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and recover from injuries, all while enjoying the flexibility and variety that come with traveling between our clinics.
Conduct thorough assessments to create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, goals, and physician recommendations.
- Implement treatments that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education to enhance mobility and function.
- Track and document patient progress in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet patient goals.
- Provide patient education on self-care techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention to empower patients in their recovery.
- Travel regularly between locations in Gainesville, Ocala, and Williston, Florida, ensuring seamless care and consistency for patients at each clinic.
- Adapt to diverse clinical environments, collaborating with a variety of healthcare teams to meet the unique needs of each setting.
- Support internal staffing needs, providing coverage for clinics when needed, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team atmosphere.
- Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, contributing to a high level of patient satisfaction and team morale.
Education: Doctoral or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensing/Certification: Current, active Physical Therapist license in Florida.
- Experience: Clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings preferred. Ability to work with diverse patient populations is a plus.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different clinical environments and handle varying patient needs.
