Moraga Country Club is looking for a full time Housekeeper! We are looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to high cleanliness standards for our members.
Position Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the country club. This includes cleaning member areas, locker rooms, dining spaces, offices, event rooms, and other club facilities while delivering excellent service to members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all assigned areas of the country club, including:
- Locker rooms
- Restrooms
- Dining areas
- Fitness facilities
- Offices
- Event and banquet spaces
- Hallways and common areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish floors and surfaces
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles
- Maintain cleanliness standards before, during, and after club events
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property promptly
- Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide courteous and professional interactions with members, guests, and staff
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments as required
