Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with menu planning to create innovative pizza options and seasonal specials
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace
- Handle food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and garnishing
- Maintain high-volume production levels during busy hours while ensuring consistency in every dish
- Support food handling and serving processes to deliver prompt service to guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders
- Uphold food safety management practices, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control
Skills
- Proven experience as a pizza cook or in a similar culinary role within the food industry
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food production
- Knowledge of dietary aide practices, menu planning, and catering experience is a plus
- Familiarity with fine dining standards and high-volume kitchen environments
- Excellent food handling skills with an emphasis on food safety sanitizing procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure
- Experience in food safety management systems and recipe adherence for consistent quality
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests effectively
