Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties
- Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks, including residential painting and repairs when necessary.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is necessary.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or porter services is advantageous.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is beneficial for this role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
