Experienced Comcast/Xfinity Field Technician (1099 Contractor)

HighTek Contracting Inc. is expanding in Virginia and is seeking experienced Comcast/Xfinity Field Technicians to support residential customers throughout Richmond, Lynchburg, and Martinsville. If you’re a motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service, we have consistent work ready for you.
What You’ll Do
- Install and activate Xfinity Internet, TV, and Voice.
- Diagnose and resolve service and signal issues.
- Perform service upgrades, reconnects, and repair appointments.
- Install inside wiring and customer equipment.
- Complete aerial and underground drop installations when necessary.
- Ensure every job meets Comcast quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Accurately document completed work using required mobile applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous Comcast/Xfinity field experience strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable work vehicle capable of carrying a 28-foot ladder.
- 28’ fiberglass extension ladder.
- DOCSIS 3.1 signal meter.
- Required installation tools and PPE.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to pass all required client background requirements.
