PREP Kitchens needs a trusted Janitorial employee for PREP Austin Commercial Kitchens.
Job schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 40 hours a week. Off Fridays and Saturdays
You will be responsible (but not limited to) the following duties:
- Ensure the building common areas such as the lobby, conference rooms, and hallways are clean. I.E: Taking out trash, dusting, sweeping floors, mopping/scrubbing floors, interior window washing, wiping down walls/baseboards/doors, wiping down and properly placing lobby furniture, etc.
- Ensure restrooms are cleaned, stocked and monitored daily.
- Performs designated janitorial tasks to keep the exterior of the property clean and presentable. I:E Exterior facility trash pickup, exterior window washing, minor landscaping, pressure washing of general exterior areas, roof/gutter cleaning, etc.
- Detail clean assigned shared kitchen equipment and common areas on a weekly basis
- Ensure restrooms, common hand washing sinks and dish washing areas (shared kitchen) are stocked with needed supplies
- Performs assigned tasks to keep the facility appearance within PREP’s standards. I.E: changing light bulbs, changing out ceiling tile, cleaning/painting supply air vents & return air vents, painting walls, doors and frames, scrubbing down FRP, etc.
- Conducts unit flips following member move outs
- Provides customer service to PREP members in a professional and timely manner
- Communicate general facility issues with Manager and work as a team to find corrections
- Maintain, clean and properly store all PREP supplies and tools/equipment
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have 1 year of Custodial experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a working phone for internal team communication purposes
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able to climb a ladder, lift 35lbs and be able to be on your feet for extending periods of time(this position does a lot of walking/moving)
- Must be able to prioritize and manage projects autonomously
- Must be able to stay organized with checklists

Schedule:
5 days a week, Sunday-Thursday, 40 hours a week.
8 hour shift with a 30 minute lunch break (unpaid)
Weekend (sunday) availability required. Off Fridays and Saturdays
