Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Traveling Field Superintendent to lead construction projects across multiple states. In this role, you will be both the Project Manager and the Field Superintendent. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-family construction projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Lead and supervise construction activities across multiple project sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and tight budgets.
- Coordinate with off-site project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Review drawings, site conditions, and/or photos and videos to ensure full understanding of the projects.
- Create full detailed scopes of work.
- Compile comprehensive material lists, ensuring every piece of material for the project if budgeted for.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce quality control and project timelines.
- Utilize customized Monday.com construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication across teams. Training will be provided.
- Read and interpret construction contracts to ensure scope compliance and manage contractual obligations effectively.
- Oversee procurement processes including tracking materials vs budgeted material list and coordinating deliveries for uninterrupted workflow.
- Supervise on-site personnel by providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback to foster a productive team environment.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and verifying installation accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in creating detailed scopes and sourcing local subcontractors.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Basic software and computer skills a must.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong understanding in what is required to build, including the ability to compile material lists for a project, down to the nails.
- Strong understanding of contracts management and project scope control.
- Ability to travel, via car or plane, frequently between project sites; valid enhanced driver’s license or passport required.
- Excellent communication skills a must.
- Understanding the details and nuances of managing construction and repair-work within both vacant and occupied building/apartments.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
