FAMILY COURT COMMISSIONER VACANCY
The 22nd Judicial Circuit, City of St. Louis, is soliciting candidates for Family Court Commissioner. The Court en banc will make the appointment for a term of 4 years. Annual salary $166,154 payable by the State of Missouri. Missouri law requires the Family Court Commissioner to possess the same qualifications as a circuit judge, including those set forth in the Missouri Constitution, Article V, Section 21, to wit, they must be qualified voters of the state and residents of the City of St. Louis, Missouri, at least thirty years and older, licensed to practice law in Missouri; and possess all other qualifications as required by law.
As the appointed Commissioner’s responsibilities will include work in the Family Court and Juvenile Divisions, experience with those programs and courts is preferred.
