American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Schedule requires working every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights)

13-week contract

Patient care includes telemetry monitoring and management of IV insulin protocols and insulin drips

Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Previous telemetry experience required

Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips required

Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills required

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Former employees of this facility are eligible to apply once they have been away for 6 months or more

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the duration of the contract

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to a fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet urgently upon receipt
