Hiring full or part time for kitchen position. We are looking to add one quality person to our kitchen staff. We operate a scratch kitchen creating quality food, bread & bakery every single day. Whether you’re assisting with food handling, cooking, or maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, your contribution will be vital to delivering exceptional service to our guests. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and safety protocols, including manual handling and safe lifting practices
- Support the kitchen team with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, equipment, or bulk ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the kitchen meets sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and guest transactions
- Assist with serving guests at the counter or table, providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Support banquet events by preparing and serving food in a professional manner while managing multiple responsibilities
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred; experience with food service or culinary roles is a plus
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and following safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures for handling food safely in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and guest services within hotel or restaurant settings is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
