Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of residential properties. Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of facilities maintenance teams, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to established procedures.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other building infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards by conducting regular safety inspections, maintaining safety records, and enforcing safety protocols among team members.
- Manage facilities projects from planning through execution, including managing contractors, reviewing schematics, and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems, electrical wiring (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC units, and industrial maintenance equipment using tools like ohmmeters and schematics.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, incident reports, inspection logs, and asset records to support operational transparency and regulatory compliance.
Skills
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems troubleshooting (including high voltage), and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, CMMS software, OSHA safety standards, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes.
- Effective team management skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate staff toward operational excellence.
- Knowledge of facilities management best practices including managing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and implementing maintenance repair procedures.
