Credit Analyst
Duties
· Accurately preparing and reviewing loan documentation for commercial loans of the different loan programs.
· Analyze borrower’s financial information and credit history in accordance with prudent lending practices as established in the Credit Policy of each Loan Program to ensure that the borrower is viable and eligible under the Loan Programs.
· In charge of the preparation of Credit Memorandums and submission to the federal agencies.
· Offers pre-loan technical assistance to loan prospects.
· Assist in the preparation of loan package.
· Ensure applications possess viable and credit worthy business ideas, so is in constant communication with prospective borrowers regarding their loan applications.
· Answers request of information regarding the technical aspects of the loan programs.
· Performs work related to the evaluation and services related to the loan portfolio, as assigned.
· Contact banks related to the referral of projects.
· Assist in the different aspects of portfolio services.
· Any other duty delegated by the Loan Department Director.
Other Qualifications
· Must have a holding a B.A. in business with a preferred Concentration in Finance or Accounting.
· Ability to understand financial statement analysis and loan documentation.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, humility, and the ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of people.
· Ability to work as a team with little supervision.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Advanced English language dominion; oral and written.
· Digital literacy and ability to navigate workplace technology. Knowledge of MS Excel and financial modeling skills.
