Make a real difference supporting students in a vibrant high school setting near Sherwood, OR, as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity is designed for an energetic SLP holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), ready to start as soon as possible. The position currently offers 32 flexible hours per week (.8 FTE), but full-time hours are available if preferred.
You’ll work primarily with a manageable caseload of 8–10 case-managed students and deliver services to up to 50, mainly high schoolers. Many students require infrequent, consultative support, which keeps your day engaging yet balanced. The typical school day runs from 8:30 to 3:20, but schedule adjustments can be made to fit your needs for a sustainable work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Eligible for Oregon state licensure as an SLP
- Previous school-based experience is desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech/language services to high school students
- Manage a primary caseload of around 8-10, with consultative services extended to a broader group
- Complete speech/language evaluations and document findings
- Develop, implement, and support IEP goals for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
