Landscape Maintenance Crew Member Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and be insurable with reliable transportation to the job site required
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent preferred
-One year landscape maintenance experience preferred
- Able to lift 75 pounds without assistance
- Physically able to handle the workload of a maintenance laborer and have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
Landscape Maintenance Crew Member Requirements:
- Reports to work on time and works full shifts, Monday – Friday with some Saturdays required
- Is a willing learner, is a self-starter, and multi-tasker with attention to detail
- Is able to communicate with supervisors, peers and the public in a professional manner
- Willing to work in all weather conditions as job requires
- Assists with snow clearing services
Maintenance Crew Member Position Description:
The Maintenance Crew Member must be generally familiar with the process of learning all aspects of Landscape Maintenance to include: cleanups, mowing, mulching, pruning, trimming, edging, weed whacking, bed maintenance, fertilizing, etc.; operating all equipment, and interfacing with clients. Requires minimal supervision and conducts all jobs in a safe manner. The Maintenance Crew Member must have a positive, can-do attitude, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, dress appropriately, be punctual, and follow all instructions given by the Maintenance Operations Manager. The Maintenance Crew Member is an integral part of the Zak George Landscaping team as they improve the atheistic value of a property.
