Fast-growing logistics company seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor with expertise in final mile and with a strong skill set in operations, supervision, dispatching, and customer service. This position will support operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, safety measures and client relationship.
Industry: Transportation/ Furniture White Glove Delivery / 3PL
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday / 5 + days / Start Time: 11 am
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Co-Manages Final Mile Dock Load outs.
- Supervises multiple deliveries and teams for seamless delivery process as established by company.
- Supports our customer’s expectations for all delivery services.
- Ensures safe and efficient operations
- Carries out our supervisory duties in accordance with the company's policies
- Meets cost, targets in a timeliness manner
- Monitors operations such as load outs, and routes.
- Assists the Customer Service Team / Dispatchers in investigations and resolutions to customer or shipper complaints.
- Serves as contact person for all workers within assigned territories.
- Implements schedule and policy changes.
- Collaborates with other managers and staff members to achieve goals, and objectives.
- Promotes safe work activities by conducting safety audits, safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
- Must be flexible to work week-ends
Skills + Qualifications:
- Must have 2-3 years logistics experience, preferably with Final Mile Home Delivery Background / 3PL / White Glove Delivery / Independent Box Truck Delivery Contractor management.
- Proven analytical and quick decision making skills, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, communication skills and excellent listening skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects while effectively communicating in a professional manner with all levels.
- Must possess both a strong personality and a desire to help.
- Must have extensive experience of dispatch with a good demographic knowledge of the state
- Must be computer proficient and comfortable with Word, Excel, Outlook and willing to learn our software.
- Strong communication skills for weekly Zoom recap meeting.
- Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.

- Confirm you can work : 5-6 Days / Tuesday to Saturday Start Time 11 am?
