American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a major Atlanta hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and broad surgical case expertise including robotics.

Work in the main inpatient surgical unit (Ground Floor Surgery) of a large hospital campus
-
High-volume OR environment handling between 28–55 cases per day
-
Service lines include Orthopedic, Neuro, Urology, General, and Thoracic surgery
-
Three da Vinci Xi robotic systems in use for General, Urology, and Thoracic service lines
-
Travelers are expected to have expertise across all case types, including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and GYN
-
Unit is staffed 24/7

12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (schedule may vary)

3 shifts per week

13-week contract

No on-call requirements

Active RN license in Georgia or a compact state currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required

AHA BLS certification required

AHA ACLS certification preferred

Broad surgical case expertise required, including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, GYN, and thoracic

Driver's License required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have at least a 2-year break from the facility before being considered

RTO (time off) requests must be submitted upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted

AHA certifications must be current and non-expired
