Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to ensure high team morale and productivity
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment
- Manage sales performance by setting targets, analyzing sales data, and implementing strategies to meet or exceed goals
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly, maintaining phone etiquette, and fostering a welcoming shopping environment
- Handle cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, payroll processing, and basic bookkeeping tasks accurately
- Coordinate purchasing activities and manage inventory control to optimize stock levels and reduce shrinkage
- Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, particularly in sales team supervision and store management roles
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams through managerial communication techniques
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple priorities such as merchandising, stocking, and shift management
- Experience in grocery or retail store environments is preferred; knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus
- Basic math proficiency for budgeting, pricing adjustments, and sales calculations
