What is the ATC?
Our Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is like no other testing and research lab. We call it an ecosystem that is front ended by our WWT Platform (Website). It's the place engineers and architects go for exclusive resources, guidance and tools. In the ATC, we provide Labs, Learning Paths, Cyber Range, Proof of Concepts, Lab Hosting Programs, and WWT Research. These offerings are meant for our Customers, Partners, and Internal Employees who need training and education on the latest and greatest solutions across all technology domains.
What will you be doing?
This role will reside within the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) and serve as a Team Lead in the ATC Delivery team. The ATC Delivery Team Lead is responsible for managing and guiding a team of Software Delivery Engineers and Software Developers in prototyping new software solutions, building & maintaining software-centric lab environments on wwt.com, and delivering paid proof of concept (PoC) engagements for customers. This is a leadership-focused role centered on team management, delivery roadmap ownership, stakeholder alignment, and enabling the team to execute at a high level—rather than hands-on engineering. The ideal candidate brings a strong software engineering background, proven experience leading technical teams, and the ability to operate effectively across customer-facing, partner, and internal WWT organizations. This leader plays a key role in advancing WWT's reputation as a technology innovation center by both ensuring the ATC Delivery team consistently delivers high-quality, impactful software-centric solutions and by creating articles, videos, and labs on wwt.com.
Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Software Delivery Engineers and Software Developers to execute customer proof of concepts, develop labs and build wwt.com technical content; set clear expectations, conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and ongoing career development conversations to grow team capability and engagement
Own the Software Delivery team's roadmap; plan, prioritize, and track progress on software projects including prototypes, lab environments, and customer PoC engagements, and communicate status and milestones to ATC leadership and stakeholders
Serve as the primary point of contact for paid customer PoC engagements; coordinate team resources, manage scope and timelines, and ensure successful delivery that meets customer objectives and WWT quality standards
Collaborate with ATC practice leads, Solutions Development leadership, and WWT Sales, Marketing and Services teams to ingest, evaluate, and prioritize prototype development and PoC opportunities aligned with WWT's go-to-market strategy
Partner with OEM and technology vendors to identify opportunities to incorporate new capabilities and emerging technologies into ATC software-centric labs, prototypes, and customer-facing solutions
- Drive quality and consistency of software deliverables by establishing and enforcing team standards for code review, documentation, testing, deployment practices, and overall software craftsmanship
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration on the Software Delivery team, aligned with WWT's Core Values of trust, humility, passion, and teamwork
- Recruit and onboard new team members; represent the ATC Delivery team across ATC and WWT leadership forums, communicating team impact, capacity, and strategic direction
