Rooted in tradition yet shaped by modern culinary culture, Momotaro is known for pristine sushi, robata-grilled specialties, and a thoughtfully curated beverage program — all delivered within a striking, high-energy space.
What You’ll Do-
Prepare and execute sushi items while maintaining all safety and sanitation standards

Properly prep, stock, and maintain the sushi station throughout service

Ensure quality control and proper pars of prepared fish

Store, label, and date all fish products according to policy

Maintain consistency in fish portioning and presentation
-
Demonstrate strong knife skills, filleting, cooking, and prep techniques

Provide professional and hospitable guest interaction at the sushi bar

Safely operate and maintain all kitchen equipment
-
Communicate equipment needs and maintenance requests to management
-
Properly store ingredients and deliveries according to sanitation guidelines

Follow standardized recipes to uphold quality and consistency in prep and service

Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhere to FIFO procedures, and uphold strong personal hygiene standards

Physical Requirements-
Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
