The Rococo Dessert Bar is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team for the 2026 season.
We're looking for a hospitality-focused professional with experience working within an established craft cocktail program. The ideal candidate is passionate about exceptional guest experiences, executes cocktails with consistency and precision, and thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Candidates with previous leadership experience and a desire to help maintain high service standards are especially encouraged to apply.
Position: Bartender
Compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience, plus tips
Schedule: Part-Time (approximately 20–30 hours per week)
Availability Required:
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays during peak season

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards
- Maintain consistent execution, presentation, and quality of all beverage offerings
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and guest service
- Assist with seasonal beverage features and menu implementation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Assist with inventory management and ordering
- Complete bar prep, including syrups, juices, garnishes, and batching
- Follow all Maine liquor laws and company policies
- Collaborate with management and fellow team members to maintain high service standards
- Assist with special events, cocktail dinners, and pairing experiences as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a craft cocktail-focused bar, restaurant, or hospitality concept
- Strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, and modern cocktail techniques
- Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and sense of urgency
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability throughout the season
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience as a lead bartender, bar supervisor, trainer, or shift leader
- Experience training or mentoring hospitality team members
- Experience with inventory management and ordering
- Familiarity with wine, beer, coffee, and food pairings
- Experience working in chef-driven, cocktail-focused, or hospitality-forward concepts
