Carpet/Rug Cleaning Technician, Manager Trainee Track Available – JD (Full-Time)
Compensation and Benefits:
Wages:
- $22.50/hour during the 3-month training period, increasing to $25.00/hour after training. Expect an annualized equivalent of $46,800 to $52,000 depending on actual hours and overtime worked
Bonus:
- May receive annual bonus based on individual and company performance
Paid Time Off:
- Granted five days of PTO at beginning of calendar year (use or lose by Dec 31)
- Every year on work anniversary, receive one additional day of PTO (max 20 d)

If you are covered by a spousal or family plan, you can still use this $500 monthly allowance to reimburse out-of-pocket medical expenses like co-pays, deductibles, and prescriptions tax-free (Beginning January 2027)
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Inspect carpet for signs of wear, traffic, dust, dirt, and other contaminants
- Clean carpet based on company SOPs, building maps, and frequency schedules
- Notify security personnel, unlock and disarm building alarms, and lock and rearm building alarms at each job site (when applicable)
- Properly maintain company cleaning equipment, vehicle, and warehouse
- Inform manager when cleaning supplies (pre-sprays, detergents, spotting agents) are in low supply and refill company van supplies from warehouse as needed
- Fill company van with gasoline using company credit card, as needed
- Respond to commercial carpet cleaning and rug cleaning leads
- Deposit cash and checks at company bank and complete point-of-sale transactions
Requirements and Other Qualifications:
- College degree or some college preferred, not required
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy cleaning equipment & rugs
- Schedule: Week 1 = Mon-Fri (mostly days) / Week 2 = Wed-Sun (mostly days) - some holidays required
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour
