Burleigh County Service Zone is Hiring a Case Management Supervisor in Bismarck, North Dakota
Burleigh County Human Service Zone is seeking a Case Management Supervisor to coordinate, support, and oversee the daily operations of a Child and Family Services Team in ensuring the safety, permanency, and well-being of children and families in our community.
Case Management Supervisor duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide supervision, direction, and oversight to a team of child welfare case managers assisting families where placement has occurred or where there is a high risk of out-of-home placement

Mentor, develop, and evaluate team member performance to enhance skills and abilities

Provide case management expertise and case consultation to support quality service delivery and successful program outcomes

Ensure program quality, compliance, and adherence to laws, policies, procedures, and program objectives

Provide effective communication, professional representation, and active collaboration with agency and community partners
- Maintain flexibility in support of emergency response planning and support which may include some non-traditional work hours
To succeed in this position, you should have a passion for serving others with a desire to make a positive impact. You should possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and be highly organized and skilled in managing time and priorities effectively. You will also need to have a strong understanding of program policies, laws, and service practices.
To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, education, human services, child development and family science, behavioral health, applied behavior analysis, nursing (bachelor level degree) or criminal justice.
Candidates must have three years of professional work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager. Qualifying experience includes work in healthcare, behavioral health, child welfare, developmental disabilities, case management in a corrections setting, or social services. This experience must involve direct client interaction, service coordination, and documentation responsibilities. A master's degree may substitute for one year of this professional work experience requirement.
Candidates must also have one year of experience providing lead work, training, or the direct supervision of staff in a health of human services program area.
The successful applicant must complete Child Welfare certification.
The successful applicant must pass a standard background, motor vehicle, and criminal record check and must maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Individuals may be required to work some non-traditional hours.
