Position Summary : The Installer is responsible for the professional delivery, installation, and setup of appliances at customer locations. This role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Expert Installation – Safely uncrate, handle, and install high‑end kitchen, laundry, and outdoor appliances (Sub‑Zero, Wolf, Miele, etc.) per manufacturer specs and local code.
- Job‑Site Readiness – Review presite notes, verify measurements, electrical, plumbing, and ventilation before beginning work; escalate discrepancies to the Install Coordinator promptly.
- Customer Experience – Provide white‑glove service: protect flooring/cabinet surfaces, maintain a clean work area, and walk clients through appliance features upon completion.
- Teamwork & Safety – Work in crews of two or three, using proper rigging, lifts, and PPE to move units; follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Documentation – Capture before/after photos, secure client sign‑off, and log installation details in our field service app to ensure accurate billing and warranty registration.
- Service‑First Mindset – Identify and resolve minor field issues; coordinate with Service or Warehouse teams for parts, exchanges, or follow‑up visits as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1–3 years installing appliances, cabinetry, HVAC, or related trades preferred (training available for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude).
- Tech Skills: Comfortable with hand/power tools, multimeters, and basic smartphone apps for work orders & routing.
- Licenses: Valid Florida driver’s license with clean MVR
- Physical: Lift/carry 100 lbs unassisted; push/pull 300 lbs using dollies/glides; stand, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces throughout the day.
- Soft Skills: Professional appearance, clear communication, problem‑solving mindset, and commitment to five‑star customer service.
