We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Auto & Truck A/C Technician to join our dynamic service team! Duties
- Diagnose issues with automotive and truck A/C systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and related mechanical components
- Install new HVAC equipment in trucks and vehicles following manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Conduct routine inspections of refrigeration units, ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and other HVAC/R equipment
- Use welding and equipment repair techniques to fix damaged components or modify existing systems
- Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system diagnostics
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems involving plumbing, HVAC design, or appliance repair
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and property maintenance protocols
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair
- Proficiency reading schematics and technical diagrams for system troubleshooting
- Experience working with HVAC design principles and field service operations
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively
- Skilled in welding, equipment repair, and maintenance of boilers or ammonia refrigeration units
- Familiarity with property maintenance procedures related to air conditioning systems in commercial settings
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (<PERSON> driver) for field service assignments
- Knowledge of construction practices relevant to installing or repairing HVAC systems in trucks or facilities
- Experience working with mechanical components like compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, and electrical controls
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for efficient repairs

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
