Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of steel racking systems. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Idaho Falls facility. This is a full-time, night shift position for a motivated individual who can work effectively in a team environment while delivering high-quality results.
Schedule
- Night Shift
- 5pm-5 am Monday–Thursday (three-day weekend!)
- Overtime on Fridays and Saturdays may be required based on business needs
Position Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to keep all production equipment and facility systems operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement efforts. This role directly impacts company productivity and profitability by minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment reliability, and ensuring production schedules are met.
An on-site skills assessment may be required as part of the hiring process and we do background check and drug test.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience required
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting
- Electrical maintenance experience, including 110V–480V systems
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Job Duties
Safety, Quality, and Productivity

Equipment Maintenance and Repair
- Repair and maintain fabrication equipment, welding equipment, painting equipment and filters, pallet racking and shelving, grinders, and banding tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Maintain electrical systems ranging from 110V to 480V.
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete all required maintenance documentation.
- Tear down, inspect, analyze, repair, and reassemble equipment to proper working condition.
Facility Maintenance
- Repair and maintain building systems including:
- Roofing and siding
- Lighting systems
- Plumbing fixtures and systems
- Overhead doors
- Gas lines and air lines
- Cranes and hoists
Mobile Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain and repair:
- Forklifts
- Manlifts
- Sideloaders
- Hoists
- Cranes
- Chains
- Exhaust fans
- Welders and welding leads
- Air compressors
Outdoor Maintenance
- Perform outdoor facility maintenance including snow removal, sidewalks, and other grounds-related tasks as assigned.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain maintenance records, repair logs, and cost tracking documentation.
- Coordinate with approved subcontractors when necessary and authorized by management.
- Complete all required work-related documentation accurately and on time.
Required Personal Tools
Candidates must provide the following tools:
- Allen wrench sets (SAE and Metric)
- Socket set
- Hammer
- Punches
- Crescent wrenches
- Wrench sets (SAE and Metric)
Frazier Industrial will provide grinders, drills, and specialty tools required to perform the job.

Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods (up to 10+ hours per shift)
- Walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach as required
- Frequently use hands, fingers, and arms to operate tools and equipment
- Lift:
- Up to 10 lbs. regularly
- Up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Up to 100 lbs. with assistance
- Never lift more than 100 lbs. alone
Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment and may include exposure to:
- Heat and cold temperatures
- Outdoor weather conditions
- Moving machinery and heavy equipment
- Noise, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
- Electrical systems
- Vibrations and mechanical hazards
Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and provided where applicable.
