Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, beverages, and light food items with precision and care.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu options, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food handling regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
Qualifications
- Prior barista experience or food service background in cafés or retail environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters customer loyalty.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales calculations accurately.
- Experience in coffee or smoothie preparation is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
