Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic LOCAL CDL Class A Driver to join our team! This role offers the opportunity to enjoy consistent home daily schedules while driving a tractor-trailer and 53' Trailer. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure safe, efficient deliveries, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and safety standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will keep our operations running smoothly and our customers satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission through designated routes, including local delivery zones and specialized OTR routes when needed
- Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols
- All palletized- no touch, drop and hook, no driver load/unload ever.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to verify safety compliance before each shift
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit
Experience
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving within local areas
- Knowledge of GPS navigation systems for efficient routing in urban or rural environments
- Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
