Job Summary
We’re looking for an energetic and friendly Server to join our team and help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you’ll be the face of our restaurant, delivering excellent customer service while ensuring smooth and efficient food and beverage service. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently.
- Serve food, beverages, including cocktails and spirits, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Upsell menu items such as wines or specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, assist with bussing, and ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including cash handling and inventory checks.
Skills
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining settings.
- Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing.
- Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and food handling practices.
