Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and licensed Managing Broker to supervise and mentor a newly licensed real estate agent while providing guidance on real estate transactions, compliance, and industry best practices.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced broker who enjoys mentoring, leadership, and helping build a successful long-term working relationship with a growing construction and home building company.
Important Timeline
Please Note: This position is anticipated to become active within approximately one year.
The prospective real estate agent is currently completing the required education and licensing process to become a licensed real estate agent in Kentucky. We are seeking a qualified Managing Broker now so we can establish a professional relationship, discuss expectations, and prepare for a successful partnership before the position officially begins.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the supervising Managing Broker for a newly licensed real estate agent.
- Review and supervise real estate transactions to ensure compliance with Kentucky real estate laws and regulations.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional support.
- Assist with transaction management, contracts, and required documentation.
- Answer questions regarding real estate practices, ethics, and compliance.
- Help ensure all real estate activities are conducted professionally and ethically.
- Provide ongoing leadership and support as the real estate business continues to grow.
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky Principal Broker or Managing Broker license in good standing.
- Previous experience supervising real estate agents and transactions.
- Thorough knowledge of Kentucky real estate laws, regulations, and brokerage compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Interested in developing a long-term professional relationship with a growing company.
Compensation
This is a commission-based independent contractor position.
Compensation will be based on a negotiated percentage of commissions earned through real estate transactions. The commission structure will be determined based on experience, responsibilities, and level of involvement.
