UNCOMN is seeking an Analytics Engineer 1-2 to:
- Execute and support Analysis of Mobility Platform (AMP) processing and related operational analytics activities, providing timely data products and insights that support strategic planning and operational readiness.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, datasets, and integration workflows within Palantir Maven Smart Systems to support operational reporting, mission analysis, and decision-making.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve data pipeline, integration, and data quality issues to ensure the reliability and performance of operational reporting systems.
- Support data migration, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance platform capabilities, streamline workflows, and improve analytical outcomes.
- Create and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, governance standards, and quality assurance procedures to promote consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain analytical data environments that support modeling, simulation, reporting, and advanced analytics.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, modeling and simulation, or a related technical discipline.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
- Experience using SQL to query, transform, analyze, and validate data.
- Familiarity with Palantir or other relational database management systems.
- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, Modeling and Simulation capabilities, and ETL processes.
- Foundational understanding of data concepts, including data quality, data transformation, reporting, and analytics workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and task-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with descriptive analytics, trend analysis, and performance reporting.
- Exposure to or experience with Analysis of Mobility Platform (AMP).
- Prior military or government contracting experience, preferably supporting United States Transportation Command.
- Active Secret clearance granted by the U.S. Government.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Cognos.
- Knowledge of the United States Transportation Command mission or experience supporting the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise.
