Job Overview
We are looking for applicants who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Many of our cases present novel legal issues, including contractual and statutory interpretation, as well as complex factual disputes that require expert testimony and the management and review of large volumes of paper documents and electronically stored information (ESI), utilizing some of the latest legal technology in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Draft, revise, and manage legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery materials, affidavits, and correspondence.
- File documents electronically in state and federal courts in compliance with court rules.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
- Organize and maintain both electronic and physical case files, including key documents, evidence, and exhibits.
- Coordinate and manage case calendars, including deadlines, court dates, depositions, and meetings.
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit compilation, hearing binders, and on site support at proceedings.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, court staff, and outside experts.
- Track and report billable time using the firm’s legal billing software.
- Provide administrative support and assist with various projects as needed.
- Learn and utilize legal technology such as Relativity and Trial Director.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
