Job Summary: Under general direction, supports, maintains and evaluates computer hardware and software, and IT Shop Floor Procedures
Required Qualifications:

Good knowledge of general PC computer systems

Good knowledge in computer networking

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Minimum of Grade 12 Education or equivalent
Responsibilities:
-
Maintain, upgrade, and repair computer hardware, including but not limited to: PCs, printers, barcode printers, servers, switches and Wyse terminals.
- Perform preventative maintenance on servers, network hardware, shop floor cabling, printers, touch screens, scanners, and terminals

Support, troubleshoot, and maintain the MARS Production Reporting System's hardware and software.

Train, assist, and support users on the MARS Production Reporting System, while enforcing MARS procedures and curriculums

Ensuring production reporting and inventory accuracy through assisting Production
- Assist in the implementation and support of new Shop Floor IT Projects and Procedures

Perform testing on new IT projects and proceeds to verify quality assurance and accuracy
-
Assists user community with day-to-day computer usage issues
-
Maintains IT records, including the monitoring and support of the IT Helpdesk Ticket System and Work Orders
-
Serving as ground support for Off-Shift IT issues with phone support from IT Staff and/or Service Express Agent

All other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned as deemed necessary by Supervisor

Competency Level to include all intermediate understanding of the processes and functions as they relate to the position as determined by the leadership team.
Working Conditions

80% shop floor (PPE required), 20% office

This position will work various hours on the off shifts with no shift premium.
