Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, Tequila and Mezcal and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for processing orders and payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties when required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Skills
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in bartending.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly environment for guests.
