Who We Are:
Coronado Dermatology is a small, private practice clinic of a dedicated, stable team that services the community with the highest quality of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology care. Our practice has been in existence for over 40 years and most of our staff have grown with our business for over a decade.
Our dermatologists are board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, the highest honor and expertise in the field of skin, hair and nail care. We love our patients and get to know them well over many years. The majority of our practice is managing chronic conditions, mainly the effects of chronic sun damage, skin cancer management and acne.
We work in a 1300 square-feet office with 6 exam rooms and a close-knit team of three part-time doctors, one RN, and several part-time and full-time medical assistants and administrators on and off site. A clear understanding of shared core values and close, coordinated communication is the key to our success.

A Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring an excellent patient experience. The Front Desk Coordinator is the public facing representative of our clinic, educator of our services, triage manager, and the first line of defense for the rest of our team. Because of this, we are looking for a customer service superstar who can help us with the following:
- Answer calls, emails and texts
- Process referrals
- Schedule appointments
- Verify insurance & eligibility
- Check-in and check-out patients
- Collect co-pays
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- 2 years general work experience preferred
- 1 year experience in medical office preferred
- Excellent command of spoken and written English language required

Schedule:
- Mondays: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Wednesdays: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Thursdays: 9:00 am -5:00 pm
- Every other Fridays: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Expected hours: 30 per week
Pay: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt, hourly employee

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment
Physical Requirements: Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer, ipad, fax, copy machine. Ability to commute to Coronado.
