Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance tasks to uphold the property's appearance and safety standards.
- Maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other mechanical systems.
- Assist with plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including leak detection and pipe repairs.
- Read technical schematics and schematics to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Supervise or lead maintenance projects when required, demonstrating leadership skills in coordinating tasks with team members or contractors.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while providing excellent customer service to internal teams or guests when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), with a strong background in electrical work, HVAC system repair, plumbing, carpentry, or related fields.
- Knowledge of building interior maintenance practices including painting (residential or commercial), facilities maintenance, and general repairs.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and testing devices such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately for electrical or mechanical systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on HVAC systems—including repair and troubleshooting—plus familiarity with HVAC controls.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus for managing automated systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members.
- Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to support team coordination efforts.
- Valid knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques along with experience working with electrical equipment repair.
- Ability to perform maintenance painting and carpentry tasks to maintain building aesthetics.
