Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control processes within the CNC manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct first article and in-process inspections of CNC machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, applying GD&T principles effectively.
- Utilize hand measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, thread gages, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Document inspection findings and maintain detailed records of inspection results.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform additional quality control tasks as needed
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection or equivalent certification in inspection.
- Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency in using hand measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Experience operating and/or programming a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is a plus, particularly with CMM Manager or Zeiss Calypso software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
