Mister B. Snacks LLC is a Parkersburg, VA-based business that specializes in the packaging and distribution of high-quality, fresh produce. We are currently looking for a Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker who is willing to work in a team environment.
The Production Team Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely. This position is responsible for leading a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and productivity. The Production Team Lead will also be instrumental in implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with other departments, such as quality assurance and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations and high-quality output. Ultimately, the Production Team Lead is key to driving operational excellence and fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
This position works Monday-Thursday 2:30 pm- 1:00 am (Night Shift).
Key responsibilities:
- Observes the operation and speed of the equipment and makes adjustments when necessary.
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Manage and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Monitor production processes and quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain and quality assurance, to streamline operations and resolve any production issues.
- Demonstrate experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and optimizing automated manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production challenges and implement process improvements.
- Clears jams and performs basic troubleshooting.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area, disposing of excess materials.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Problem-solving skills are utilized daily to address production issues and implement solutions that enhance workflow.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects.
- Frequent bending and lifting upwards of 75 pounds
- Must be able to navigate the plant and reach items both high and low.
