Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Transportation & Safety
- Safely transport clients, staff, or materials to designated locations following assigned routes and schedules.
- Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and organizational transportation policies.
- Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts and comply with safety requirements.
Vehicle Maintenance & Inspections
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out.
- Monitor fuel levels and ensure timely refueling.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and trip reports.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines when transporting clients.
- Follow organizational protocols for incident reporting or emergency procedures.
- Secure all required signatures or documentation for deliveries or pickups.
Client Service & Professionalism
- Interact with clients and staff in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
- Provide assistance to clients with mobility challenges as needed.
- Communicate delays, schedule changes, or concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain professional boundaries while ensuring a supportive and safe environment.
Internal Support & Coordination
- Coordinate with staff regarding transportation needs, schedules, and changes.
- Assist with transporting supplies or equipment for facilities or programs.
- Support other departments by completing assigned tasks during downtime.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with facility tasks such as light cleaning, organizing, or errands as needed.
- Participate in staff training, meetings, or safety briefings.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, including safety, conduct, and confidentiality guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support transportation and operational needs.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
