Pay: $20.50 probationary wage. Increases to $21.50 at completion of training and a 90-day assessment period.
Summary:
A Direct Support Professional supports adults with developmental disabilities in living their best life. You will have an opportunity to work with individuals on their core life skills as well as community integration. Core life skills development may include health and fitness, personal care, and teaching skills like cooking or artistic expression. Community integration includes grocery shopping, taking clients to lunch, outings to the movies, trips to the county fair and so much more. Our team members are expected to learn and understand Another Option’s policies, mission, and the residential service guidelines upon completion of their training.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Must complete and pass a background check to include an FBI fingerprint check
Shifts vary based on resident needs: (Shifts usually fall within the following ranges)
- Day: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Mid: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Swing: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Graveyard: 9:00 pm – 7:00 am
All interested applicants should be available to work weekends with the potential for mixed shifts. Open availability preferred.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly'
We currently have Full-Time, Part-Time and Relief positions available. We provide all necessary training to successfully grow in your new position and obtain your Nursing Assistant Registry credential from WA state.
