We are a full-service General Engineering Site Development Contractor. We can take your project from start to finish. Projects can range from 25 lot residential subdivisions to heavy industrial or clean energy of any size.
We are looking for Site Superintendents for projects in Arizona.
The Site Superintendent role oversees field operations, project execution, scheduling, job costing, and workforce coordination. This role serves as the primary liaison between the customer, field personnel, and company leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements, budget expectations, and project schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the project scope of work.
- Effectively prioritize workload and manage time across multiple responsibilities.
- Support and mentor field leadership personnel.
- Direct field-related employee inquiries through the appropriate Foreman.
- Monitor field activities to ensure work performed aligns with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with project leadership regarding field operations and workforce needs.
- Attend all required onsite meetings with customers and project stakeholders.
- Meet regularly with foremen to ensure crews are properly staffed, equipped, and positioned to meet project objectives.
- Review, approve, or reject foreman timecards on a daily basis.
- Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Experience:
- 5 years experience in construction site management.
- Proven experience managing crews, schedules, budgets, and project execution.
- Strong understanding of job costing, timekeeping systems, and cost codes.
- Experience working with HCSS or similar construction management software preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of construction safety requirements and best practices.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This position requires regular work at active construction sites and exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including high and low temperatures, dust, noise, and uneven terrain.
The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods; frequently bend, kneel, reach, and use hands and arms; and communicate effectively through speaking and hearing. The employee may also be required to climb stairs or ladders, traverse uneven terrain, and occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific visual abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus as necessary to safely perform job duties.
