Overview
We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated team member to join our small bookstore/wine bar environment. This role combines front-of-house guest service with light kitchen support duties. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays organized during busy moments, and is wiling to help wherever needed in a small team setting.
This is a cross-trained position that includes cashiering, food running, beverage service, stocking, light prep work, and assisting with daily coffee/drink operations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and operate POS system transactions
- Friendly Customer Service, assisting with beverages
- Maintain Clean, Tidy, and Welcoming Front Counter and Dining Area
- Assist with small Plating, Board Assembly
- Light Food Prep, washing produce, Portioning ingredients, Restocking Stations
- Help Maintain Food Safety and Sanitation Standards at all times..
- Restock inventory, beverages, to-go supplies, and prep stations
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- help monitor low stock items and communicate to Chef
Requirements
- Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Comfortable learning and operating POS system
- Ability to multitask and stay organized without being directly told.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30lbs
- Able to Serve and Ring Up Alcohol.

Schedule & Availability
- Full Time Position (minimum 30-35 hours per week)
- Weekend and occasional evening availability required.
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
