Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Install Technician to join our growing field service team. This role will be responsible for on-site construction tasks, equipment installations, and plumbing systems setup related to automotive service equipment. We are a fast-growing, full-line sales and service company for the light and heavy-duty automotive industry, providing quality equipment and service in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, and surrounding states. We sell and service automotive in-ground and above-ground lifts, mobile column lifts, fluid pumps, tanks, reels, exhaust removal systems, air compressors, refrigerant dryers, waste oil heaters, wheel service and alignment equipment, detail equipment, and an array of hydraulic equipment
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and setup of automotive lifts and related shop equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, electricians, and other technicians to ensure timely and accurate installations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site and provide efficient, professional solutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding job progress and any concerns.
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes, safety standards, and company quality guidelines.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in construction or mechanical installation (automotive shop equipment a plus).
- Familiarity with piping systems, compressors, lifts, and general shop equipment.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical manuals.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, scissor lifts or elevated surfaces.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (training can be provided).

Pay Insight
Level of pay is based on work experience and skill set.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
