Deli Sandwich Maker / Prep Cook (AM & PM Shifts)
The Brick Market & Deli is looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking Deli Sandwich Makers / Prep Cooks to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and deli items according to recipes and quality standards
- Slice, portion, and prepare fresh meats, cheeses, vegetables, and other ingredients for daily service
- Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked sandwich station
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service while accurately preparing orders
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing duties, cleaning, stocking, and kitchen organization
- Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Support fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous deli, sandwich shop, restaurant, or food service experience preferred (1 year or more is a plus)
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to showing up ready to work
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in preparing quality food
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays; availability to help cover shifts is appreciated
- Current California Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain one before starting)
