What You'll Do
- Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures with confidence and efficiency
- Prepare treatment rooms before each patient and reset them afterward
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans (training/certification required if applicable)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
- Keep operatories clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the day
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Help maintain an efficient schedule and smooth patient flow
- Work alongside our front office and clinical team to create an exceptional patient experience
- Bring positive energy to the office every single day
What We're Looking For
- Dental assisting experience is preferred
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Ability to take dental radiographs or willingness to obtain required Georgia radiography training
- CPR certification preferred
- Experience with Open Dental is a plus
- Strong communication and people skills—you genuinely enjoy talking with patients
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Able to multitask and stay calm when things get busy
- A team player who jumps in without being asked and always has a positive attitude
