Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs promptly. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC/R equipment, and electrical components to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Perform repairs on appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems using schematics, technical diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
- Outside mowing, trimming , shoveling, snowplowing but not limited to.
- Support construction projects by assisting with equipment setup, system integration, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring for troubleshooting purposes.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation and equipment repair in commercial or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and air handling equipment.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building maintenance is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently using diagnostic tools.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in performing maintenance tasks accurately.
