Mechanical Engineer II - Test Equipment
Mechanical Engineers to be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environment systems for all Client effector products.
What You Will Do
- Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments
- Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements
- Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum two (2) years of work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Two (2) years of technical / engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production support
- Two (2) years’ experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis
- Experience creating mechanical drawing packages
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging
- Experience with creating complex design drawing packages
- Experience with Configuration Management processes, application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM)
- Experience in Model Based Engineering or Model Based Design
- Experience in mechanical sub-systems packaging, materials, thermal analysis, structural analysis, control systems, electrical hardware design, or large assembly development
- Experience with environmental stress screening of hardware (e.g., vibration, shock, thermal, etc.)
- Systems engineering experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Security Clearance Type: DoD Clearance: Secret
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
