Position Summary:
Marco's Pizza is seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will safely deliver orders to customers while providing exceptional service. When not making deliveries, you will assist with in-store duties, including food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and helping customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver orders safely, accurately, and on time.
- Provide outstanding customer service with every delivery.
- Collect payments and process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Ensure orders are complete and accurate before leaving the store.
- Maintain a clean, reliable, and insured personal vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Assist with food preparation, including pizzas, wings, salads, and other menu items when not on deliveries.
- Answer phones and take customer orders using the POS system.
- Stock supplies, refill ingredients, and assist with inventory.
- Keep the restaurant clean, including the kitchen, lobby, restrooms, and dishwashing areas.
- Help with opening and closing duties.
- Work as a team player to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable personal vehicle with current registration and insurance.
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Previous delivery or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely enter and exit a vehicle multiple times during a shift.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Schedule
- Full-time and Part-time positions available.
