Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our manufacturing and construction teams. The welder performs entry-level MIG and TIG welding tasks under direct supervision. This role is designed for individuals with less than three years of welding experience and focuses on developing technical skills, understanding basic quality safety standards, and supporting production operations. Experience in welding aluminum a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup, including aluminum cleaning, material preparation, and fixturing
- Perform tack welding under supervision
- Follow documented work instructions, safety protocols, and compliance standards (ISO 901, ISO 45001, OSHA)
- Participate in internal safety and quality orientation programs
- Load/Unload parts, deburr, and take basic measurements as required
- Use basic inspection tools under supervision to ensure quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to PPE requirements
- Develop skills to advance toward higher welding levels and certifications.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to quality
- Must be safety-focused and able to work effectively as part of a team
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
