Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily lawncare and landscaping activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning
- Lead the team in maintaining high standards of landscape maintenance and horticultural practices
- Oversee construction projects such as installing new landscapes, irrigation systems, or garden features
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and equipment use
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members on landscape techniques, equipment handling, and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Conduct inspections of work sites to maintain quality control and address any issues promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture with a focus on lawn care and landscaping
- Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, and general garden maintenance
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery and tools safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination and client interaction
- Knowledge of safety standards related to outdoor work environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
